Safe, Effective and Registered: 

Osteopathy is a statutorily registered primary health care profession. You do not need a GP referral to consult an osteopath. Osteopathic clinical and academic training lasts several years and this alongside many years in practice allows Alison to form a diagnosis and treatment plan and to refer for scans or clinical tests where appropriate. You will always have a thorough clinical examination and when your condition would be better treated by a different type of treatment you will always be referred to your GP or most appropriate health professional ensuring you always receive the most appropriate clinical care.
